Mine would have to be meeting and getting the autograph of the late great Ted Williams:
Ted wasn't suppose to sign autographs at the dinner I went to; just speak. During the dinner, I went up to his table; and was asked to leave by the security guard; but Ted said let him stay. I talked with him for a little bit; prob. about 10 minutes about baseball. I asked him a few questions and he talked for a little bit. After that; I asked him if he could sign the ball I had; and even though he wasn't suppose to sign; he said sure kid. He signed the ball; beautifully on the sweet-spot.
I was shocked and thanked him; and I went back to eat with my dad.
This was one of; if not the last public appearance Ted would make before he passed away. This is obviously my best autograph; and prob. my best autograph story in my lifetime; and most likely will be until I pass on. Definitly NEVER gonna sell the ball.....

gotta stick with my piazza story. Tahts my claim to fame. Literally the guy doesnt sign in NY. No public appearances. There was a mad rush when he walked over. I walked over becase I thought someone fell on the field. I was fortunate enough to get 2 balls done, and a pic with. The guy sigend for like 15 minuets...Havent seen him sign any other time.

One of my best autographs stories I have to share was at a Patriots training camp back in August.
I went there for the day and watched them practice and so forth. I brought cards of alot of the players. So the practice ended and some players started signing. The ones I had cards of I was unable to get. But the next thing you know the star player was coming ; so I fumbled for my SI Cover and he signed it!!!; the player: Tom Brady!!!!!!!!! Yeah I was in total shock to. There was at least 100 people following him hoping to get him on their item(s) that they had for him. I just stood in my spot and he did sign for me. I missed the other player because the kid next to me had his jersey on. It was Rodney Harrison I missed and he had his jersey on. I did have my Tom Brady jersey on and I think that is why he probably stopped to sign for me. I will never trade my item or sell it...

He signed my item so quick that I was unable to thank him for it. He moved very quickly it was hit or miss. Yeah I wished he done both though LOL that would of been nice.

I have 2 autograph stories:
The first one was when I was 13 years old. My parents own an antique/depression glass business and were doing a show in Missouri. My bro & I were running around and playing outside when my dad came and got us. He said he wanted us to meet someone. We came into the show and Ernie Banks was standing there. He was w/ his wife at the show who collected depression glass and they had bought some glass from parents. We have been Cubs fans before we could speak, so it was quite a thrill. Ernie signed several balls, several of my parent's business cards, & I have the cancelled check signed by him. After signing he stated that he was tired of walking around and wanted to know if we wanted to go get some ice cream w/ him. After eating ice cream, he then asked if we wanted to go out and throw the ball around. What an experience, one that I will never forget.
The second one was when I was in my 30's. I had went to the Football Hall of Fame Induction ceremony in Canton, OH. The day before the ceremony my brother-in-law and I was walking around the grounds at the hall of fame and we noticed a small crowd out behind the stadium. We walked over and were surprised to see that Joe Namath was in the middle of filming a segment for NFL Archives. We got to hang out and watch the taping for about 3 hours. We were 10 feet from Joe most of the time. In between takes he would mingle w/ the crowd and sign. He signed a small football I had and allowed me take a pic w/ him. Another great experience!
